Mikey Chapman, il cantante dei Mallory Knox, ha lasciato la band. L’annuncio è stato dato sui social dal gruppo stesso, che andrà avanti con il bassista Sam Douglas come nuovo cantante.
La notizia rappresenta senza dubbio uno shock per i fan della band inglese, che con Chapman ha pubblicato tre album nel corso di nove anni di carriera, ma i restanti membri del gruppo sapevano già da molti mesi come fosse la situazione, come spiegato in questa intervista approfondita con Rock Sound.
La band, in concomitanza con la notizia triste, ha anche annunciato una serie di date nel Regno Unito per dimostrare la propria determinazione ad andare avanti.

“After nearly 9 years together, today we announce that Mikey has decided to part ways with Mallory Knox. As a band we respect his decision and wish him well for the future.
2018 marks a brand new chapter for the band and we’re excited to be continuing Mallory Knox with Sam taking the lead on vocals. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes writing and recording new music. We are very keen for you to hear it and you won’t be waiting long.
